Building Vibrancy

One Lucky Guitar’s work in placemaking and community wellbeing are among our favorite and most rewarding engagements. In this case, it’s Van Wert Forward—a multi-phase development project in Northwest Ohio led by the talented team at Van Wert County Foundation and their steering committee. The initiative’s goal is to build vibrancy in downtown Van Wert by preserving and enhancing buildings in a way that reimagines them in retail, residential and dining scenarios.

OLG was brought in for brand consultation, including our Soul Sessions process that led to developing this new initiative’s name, visuals and talking points. Through our collaborative work with the VWCF team, Van Wert Forward and the brand platform Building Vibrancy came to life. The vision for the project—and some of the properties up for restoration—can be viewed on their new website.

Pago USA, the lead developer in downtown Van Wert, has transformed historic communities across the midwest, including Cincinnati’s Over the Rhine districts and The Landing in Fort Wayne. We’re imagining the same quality-of-life changes in Van Wert. Let’s go!
