Allen County SPCA and H.O.P.E. for Animals united to build a positive force for animal welfare in Northeast Indiana. Together, they are Humane Fort Wayne—and we’re honored to have helped them along their journey to rename and rebrand one of our community’s most important assets.

Cadinha & Company is a wealth management and financial planning firm based in Honolulu, HI and Park City, UT with a unique approach to investment management. Focusing on solid investment returns with a special emphasis on capital preservation—the Cadinha & Company approach is also strongly influenced by their Hawaiian heritage and the spirit of ohana, the Hawaiian word for family.

OLG’s “house band” is The Legendary Trainhoppers, an American band from Fort Wayne. (Full disclosure: Matt Kelley plays guitar and mandolin and writes songs in the band.) The band writes, rehearses and performs in The B-Side at One Lucky Guitar, the small listening venue within our office.

Around the turn of the year, the City of Fort Wayne asked OLG to develop a campaign that would communicate to residents to keep up the good fight against Covid-19 with emphasis on the big three—wearing a mask, keeping distance and limiting gatherings. As Allen County continues to see a rise in infection rates, it’s important that a clear message of preventing the spread is on the top of everyone’s mind.

For the January 2021 issue, Fort Wayne magazine approached One Lucky Guitar to contribute to a special, themed section of the magazine looking at the decade ahead in our community—the principles we’re building on, the trends we can leverage, the gaps we need to fill.

We’re pleased to share The Journey—a 33-minute documentary film produced for Foellinger Foundation that follows four leaders through their experience in the Leadership Lab, the signature program of the Helene Foellinger Leadership Development Initiative.

In early 2019, we were approached by Northwest Allen County Schools (NACS) to partner on a comprehensive brand strategy consultation. The district, made up of seven elementary schools (soon to be eight!), two middle schools and one high school is well known in our community for their academic excellence, and has been lauded at the state level for their schools’ academic and athletic performance.  Each school in the district its own little community.

In 2017, OLG presented David Wax Museum at the Middle Waves Music Festival. The band had previously played two stripped-down concerts at our own B-Side; the first as a trio, and the second as a duo with band leaders David Wax and Suz Slezak, who are married. David and Suz’s commitment to their art—and to being incredible parents to their young children—inspired us.
