  • Empowering Youth in Philanthropy

YEP—Youth Empowered Philanthropy— is a program ran by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne that teaches high schoolers in Allen County about the world of charitable giving. Each year, a select group of students in grades 10-12 meet—not only learn about nonprofit work—but to make real decisions, with real money, to create an impact in the community.

  • Jake’s Favorite Illustrations

In the over 15 years that I’ve called One Lucky Guitar home, I’ve illustrated some fun and important content for our clients and friends—and myself. This post covers just a portion of the visuals hidden in folders around here. Enjoy! (And if you haven't yet, check out a similar post, from my coworker, Jon.)

  • An Interplanetary Match

It seems I’m often looking for an excuse to work on a new, fun illustration—and many times that’s seen in my gig poster work. But up until recent months, there haven’t been a lot of shows. As Allen County continues to see a rise in infection rates, it’s important that a clear message of preventing the spread is on the top of everyone’s mind.

  • Your Newest, Old Favorite

OLG is happy to be part of some positive and frothy news coming from the rejuvenated Columbia Street area in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana known as The Landing. Here, you’ll find the new Landing Beer Co., a one-of-a-kind brewery and BBQ hangout. In 2019, we were approached by the inspired owners to create all-new branding for their venture. To them, it was important that we capture the communal, fresh feeling they envisioned with the location—a space each resident will be welcome to have a good pint.

  • Delivering Confidence

In the halls of OLG, we’ve been speaking a new language based around 3-D printing, milling and machining—all thanks to our friends at C&A Tool. Working with this industry leader in advanced manufacturing, we’ve been able to witness their large operation (650+ employees, three facilities) and how they play a role in providing innovative, custom parts to the aerospace, medical, transportation and energy industries.

  • Where Entrepreneurs Go

In Northeast Indiana, there are several organizations set on helping current or future entrepreneurs be successful. The challenge is knowing all the resources, and which ones are right for you depending on your journey. Our client at SEED Fort Wayne recognized this gap and decided to work with OLG to develop an answer. The result is FUSE NEI!
