Check, Check, Check-in

We turned it up to eleven to celebrate the grand opening celebration of downtown Fort Wayne’s newest hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites. OLG worked alongside the hotel’s development and management company, White Lodging, to create a buzz-building event that invited guests to explore all the new location has to offer.

The VIP opening event celebrated White Lodging’s generous support of Fort Wayne Community Schools’ band instrumental program. To bring that to life—along with the hotel’s location in the heart of downtown’s entertainment district— we developed the Hampton: Live event theme. Hampton: Live included activations and experiences along a curated tour that guests navigated with their backstage pass—including a special performance by FWCS students benefitting from the collaboration.

Guests enjoyed additional music performances from a range of genres, a live painting performance, an interactive photo booth and an all-access trip to the ‘merch tent.’ The environment and décor included custom-painted instruments, amps with custom ‘band stickers,’ cassette tape streamers, showprint and vintage gear.

The event name and brand came to life in the space through the custom floor and window graphics, banners, balloon installations, staff tees and guests backstage passes they wore in themed lanyards. The hotel’s restaurants, Burger Bar and Conner’s Rooftop, also served up a menu of on-theme food and cocktails.
