Our Three Favorite Hoppy Gnome Tacos

As you may recall from our Taco Tuesday post, we don’t mess around about tacos. And we’ve got a special place in our hearts for our downtown taco establishment—The Hoppy Gnome. Great service, locally owned, great food… what more can you ask for?

As a team, we’ve consumed more Hoppy Gnome tacos than we can really count. So, we took an internal poll to see which ones rose to the top! We rated our favorites and assigned points—here are the results!

Korean Short Rib

Taking the gold, Korean Short Rib won first place by a landslide.

48-hour braised beef short rib, Korean BBQ sauce, cilantro-lime-cabbage slaw

Three Little Pigs

Comin’ in hot in second place, not by a landslide!

pork belly, carnitas, pork cheek, Kentucky whiskey glaze, smoke jalapeño coleslaw

Chili Glazed Shrimp

Just barely sliding into third place—Chili Glazed Shrimp was followed closely, winning by just one point. (The Mahi Mahi and Smoked Brisket tacos tied for fourth place!)

breaded shrimp, chili glaze, jicama and cucumber slaw
