For the past eleven years, I’ve sat on the Allen County Fairgrounds Board of Directors. Just saying “eleven years” out loud elicits many wonderful memories at my beloved county fair. So much has changed and evolved over the past decade but one thing has remained—the essence and mission of our fair.

On January 28, 2019, we chatted with Dirk Rowley and WANE-TV about TV advertising surrounding the Super Bowl, and specifically local spots that have left a lasting impression. Humor is fine, but we were thinking of work that made not just an impression, but a positive impact on our community, as so much of our favorite work has.
