Legacy & Beyond

In 2026, Foellinger Foundation hosted its inaugural Annual Meeting. This signature gathering brought together grantees, community partners and local leaders to reflect on the Foundation’s work, share accomplishments and honor individuals whose leadership strengthens Allen County. We were proud to partner with the Foundation to bring the brand front and center while also letting the stories of Allen County leaders shine.
Theme Development
First, OLG developed the theme for the annual report and meeting—Legacy & Beyond. This concept is centered around “legacy letters” that inspire others to create a lasting impact. These letters, crafted with the grantees, highlight the impact leaders hope to have on the community through their leadership. They were included in the printed report and adapted into videos for the Foundation’s annual report microsite.
Event Consultation and Strategic Communications
One Lucky Guitar partnered with the Foundation to advise on the event’s evolution—from strategic positioning to the run of show. Originally called the David A. Bobilya Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Award luncheon, the redesigned event shifted focus to look back on the Foundation’s activities over the last year and preview all that’s ahead, using the same theme as their annual report. It also expanded to recognize not only board leaders but also nonprofit staff and executives. The Foundation’s leadership committee worked hard to develop a new awards structure, and we supported them during this transition by creating a rollout strategy that covered all stages, from launching applications to announcing the recipients.
Environmental Design
To bring the brand to life in the space, OLG designed a suite of reusable event materials, including an entryway arch, stage backdrops, gobos and more. In addition, we created the event program to thoughtfully complement the annual report, which was distributed for the first time at the event.
Asset Development
We assisted the Foundation throughout the planning of this signature event by creating website content, blog posts, social media updates, e-invites, press releases, event scripts, and photography and videography. Additionally, OLG offered comprehensive event consultation throughout the planning process and day-of coordination support for Foellinger Foundation staff.
Our partnership with Foellinger Foundation is creating its own legacy—we celebrated 10 years of working together in 2025! We’re so grateful for the Foundation’s steadfast collaboration over the last decade and look forward to many more to come!
