The New Year is off to a great start here at OLG with new concepts, new clients and B-Side shows already on the books.
But one of our latest celebrations is related to friends and work from last year.
The identity we created for Indiana Signworks was featured in Print magazine’s prestigious 2015 Regional Design Annual as one of the 348 best American designs. This is OLG’s fourth feature in the annual, and we couldn’t be more honored and absolutely stoked.
Not only because Indiana Signworks is an amazing client, and we worked hard to build its identity from scratch. But also because we were the only Fort Wayne firm featured in the annual this year—and one of the few firms from Indiana altogether.
So if you haven’t seen our work for Indiana Signworks yet, take a gander. It nods to the signage industry as a whole, with an abstract pattern inspired by elements of 3D sign blueprints. And it gives a fresh, contemporary feel to a company built on two legacies of experience and Hoosier heritage.
Also, if you haven’t checked out the 2015 Regional Design Annual yet, that’s worth a look, too. Among other winners in our region are LeoBurnett’s Lovin’ campaign for McDonalds, TOKY’s full rebrand for MIT List Visual Arts Center and a killer 650-piece installment by Extra Credit Projects for the Art Everywhere US celebration in Grand Rapids.
Special thanks to the venerable Charles S. Anderson of Charles S. Anderson Design for judging more than 774 entries in the Midwest alone.
Here’s to more creative and heartfelt work in 2016!
