Last Saturday Nate and I (+ numerous friends) got to participate in one of Conspiracy’s gallery events. This particular show, titled Star Wars vs. Dinosaurs, was something we each looked forward to create visuals for as each of those topics were rooted in our childhoods. The evening was a good one in which a few superfans dressed up as galactic characters. (Nate was convinced the best group shot would involved hugging.)
My piece was a 24 x 36″ poster printed on archival paper. I explored what Darth Vader’s helmet would look like if worn by a Triceratops. It’s a little different than my usual style. I think someone described it looking “like a Nike ad”; that sounds good to me!
