Progress on Moving What Matters

In 2025, the Women’s Fund conducted a follow-up study to provide an updated assessment of the status of women and girls in Allen County. The study centered on the Fund’s three focus areas identified from the original: Economic Security, Personal Safety, and Young Women & Girls.

Women’s Fund partnered with the Purdue University Fort Wayne Community Research Institute (CRI) to conduct research most relevant to these focus areas, including a survey conducted through SurveyUSA and data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Using this information and insights from Women’s Fund initiatives, OLG developed the 2025 report and supporting materials that tell the overarching story of women and girls in Allen County.
