2024 marks Allen County, Indiana’s bicentennial. To mark the occasion, OLG partnered with the Bicentennial Commission, History Center and Genealogy Center to create Together, We Soar—a mini-documentary highlighting the history of our community.
Together, We Soar portrays Allen County’s story as one of innovation, resilience and unity. From our earliest days, we’ve made the most of our abundant resources to be the very best we can, at that very moment. All the while, we have kept our eyes on the horizon, moving ever-forward to ensure a better tomorrow for each Allen County resident and visitor.
The film premiered at the Allen County Bicentennial Bash on November 16, 2024, and was part of a larger program that featured performances by The Legendary Trainhoppers, Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, Voices of Unity, North Side High School Wildsiders and more.
