Now that schools in the area are back in full swing, it’s nice to think that some of them will be identified with the work of OLG. A part of our work with the Northeast Indiana Fund/Talent Initiative involved partnering closely with some of the New Tech high schools in our area. These schools promote a style of learning that prepares students for a modern work environment where technology and group collaboration live together.
Our initial help came in the form of branding the schools. We did so in a way that kept some of the characteristics of their “traditional home schools” while looking like they belonged in a group. I started with the icons, all of which had ties to old mascots. Then I found a type treatment that could complement them all and be accepted by all groups.
When all was approved, Drew got the job of doing some sweet banners for each school too.
