February 25, the Brass Rail will host Chicago-based Mannequin Men. They’re a gritty rock four-piece that played the Rail once before. I liked ’em enough to get their first full-length on vinyl and now they’re touring for their new album (self-titled) which has been played quite a bit around OLG.
I’m also looking forward to see local act Proto Idiot. Word has it that it’s the brain of one dude who was originally from the UK and made his way here via a gig at WBOI. I don’t know much about the third band, Apache Dropout, but I’m sure they’re quality.
