Technology in the home is rapidly evolving and utility companies are taking notice. Recently, Indiana Michigan Power has taken advantage of this conectivity by developing a new program to help homeowners better manage energy use and in the end save a little money.
One Lucky Guitar helped give a visual identity to IM Home—a smartphone app, that when paired with a newly-installed wi-fi-enabled ecobee thermostat—allows mutual involvement aimed at cutting energy use when it’s less-needed. This initiative falls under the already-established Electric Ideas, which is home to other energy-saving ideas.
