Fighting for Firsts

According to the 2023 Infant Mortality Report, for every 1,000 babies born in Allen County, six infants die before their first birthdays. Many factors contributing to our community’s high infant mortality rate are preventable.

Healthier Moms and Babies (HMB) is committed to championing and advocating on behalf of moms, babies and families, and One Lucky Guitar partnered with the organization to create a video series for their annual gala, Fighting for Firsts. We also created social media cutdowns and highlight reels, so that HMB could use the video content beyond the event itself.

Martrese & Kendra’s Story and Heather & Liliana’s Story premiered at the 2023 and 2024 Fighting for Firsts events and showcase the importance of the services HMB provides.
