Our friends at the FW Phil announced their new music director at a live press conference at IPFW yesterday: Andrew Constantine. The announcement was met with a lot of applause, too. Paige and I were sitting behind one of the Phil's musicians and (as you'll see in the video) he was really excited about the announcement.

I appreciated what Mr. Constantine had to say about the importance of an orchestra in the community, how it's something to be cherished. Fort Wayne has a really spectacular orchestra. I feel Constantine's leadership will only do amazing things for its success in our community. Congrats to the Phil and to the new music director.
