There's a great show happening this weekend. Metavari will be playing along with Bloomington bands Husband & Wife and Everbody. While designing the poster, I was watching Gary Hustwit's documentary "Helvetica," so my beloved Helvetica Neue Thin and Wim Crouwel inspired grids crept into my design a bit. Regardless of what you think of the poster, don't miss this show. it'll be a solid indie-pop post-rock throw down of the finest order. All happening in our very own Tiger Room.

Fascinating side note:
I go way back with Everybody front man Matt Bruns. We grew up in the same town, went to the same high school, founded our vector/pen-tool skills designing t-shirts at the same screen printing shop, honed those skills in the same art school, graduated and put those skills to use in our first real job at the same design agency. It's been a few years, he's in Bloomington and I'm in Fort Wayne, but who'd guess that he's friends with the guy who sits next to me (Nate) and they play the occasional show together? Can't wait to have Everybody in Fort Wayne.
