Paige Thurston Project Manager / paige@oneluckyguitar.com /
Omniscient OLG web narrator speaks:
Paige and Matt used to sit across from each other in Northrop High School art class, collaborating and critiquing each other's work. They did the same at their first post-college marketing firm job, and a few years later, Mrs. Thurston became the first full-time employee at One Lucky Guitar. Paige is a rare breed —not just jill of all trades, but master of them as well.
Paige keeps projects on budget, on-time and on target. Pick two? Not when you're working with Paige. Take all three. She is also master of the photo-shoot: a stylist, an organizer, a propper, a quick-thinker and a photographer's best friend or worst nightmare (but they like her anyway).
What's that, ever been to the OLG office and found yourself bewildered by a strange half-wall with hanging glass logo and industrial piping securing it in place? You can't buy those at IKEA, folks. Paige (and her studly husband Tom) built that wall, and a heckuva lot more of our office space.
She is the idea girl.
Q & A:
This music/movie/book/person changed my life:
From as far back as I can remember my mom has always been positive, proud and enthusiastic of what I have done and what I can do. Sometimes it drives me crazy but deep down it really means a lot! Thanks Mom.
Best menu item in Fort Wayne:
Well if you ask anyone who knows me I am super picky about food. Something always has to be held when I order a menu item. Then, once I find something I like I stick to it almost every time I go to that restaurant. The food that comes to mind that is sooo good and amazingly enough I order "all the way" is the Linguini with Lobster at Biaggi's. You have to try it.
My favorite thing to do is:
This is crazy but I actually like working on our house because of the awesome sense of accomplishment I get when I step back and admire a finished project.
Would you have even guessed it?
I am a great at water skiing.
Thing I like best about the person that sits to my right (Matt Kelley):
I have known Matt for a long time and he has always been a great and talented guy as you all know. I am always impressed with his ability to make things happen and get things done— it's inspiring.
