Heather Schoegler Client Champion / heather@oneluckyguitar.com /
Omniscient OLG web narrator speaks:
Even Matt's dad (neighbor to Heather's extended family) had taken to calling her Number Eight.
As collaborator, client and friend, Heather frankly just never stopped being impressive to the OLG team. When she agreed to join our ranks, elation ensued. Well versed, well schooled, well traveled and yet fresh and hungry, Heather brought her stacked resumé, commitment to doing things right and infectious curiosity to the halls at 1301 Lafayette Street.
In these parts, "Client Champion" isn't just some phrase of the week pulled from Fast Company. Heather believes in our clients — the real champs — and helps them to achieve their goals, bringing new ideas and solutions to the table, and fighting to make their message achieve its greatest possible impact.
Heather is the internal lead on the OLG Goes Green!™ 2008 campaign and has contributed steadily to our overall organizational clarity. And she's still fighting for us to get a fax machine.
Q & A:
This music/movie/book/person changed my life: Mr. Moser, 7th grade English/Social Studies teacher. Mr. Moser cared deeply for the long-term success of his students. Even when I switched schools, he maintained contact and through his caring, inspired me to be a teacher. While I started out as a Speech & Theatre Education major, I learned to love marketing and PR and dropped the education portion from my degree. I learned there are many ways to share knowledge with those around you and Mr. Moser inspired that kind of thinking.
Best menu item in Fort Wayne:
Unagi Maki at Asakusa
My favorite thing to do is: Learning more about the world through my daughter Grace's eyes. It's so refreshing to see the world through someone who is experiencing things for the first time and learning something new everyday.
Would you have even guessed it?
While I consider myself to be a Fort Wayne native, I did spend part of my life in a town called Ogallala, Nebraska. I'm a huge Target fan, so considering the closest Target store was 3 hours away, it was a rough time. I'm also a big fan of learning. (My husband calls me a closet nerd.) I love to read, find new things fascinating and am half way through obtaining my Master's in Organizational Leadership. Oh, and I can make a sound like a motorcycle. But, don't ask me to do it, I won't.
Thing I like best about the person that sits to my right (Tommy Cutter):
Why Tommy is fabulous: I appreciate the depth and details that are Tommy Cutter. While he may be the person who uses the least amount of words, his quietness does not reflect the amount of thoughts he is thinking. And, what he creates for our clients is admirable and awe-worthy.
