Wednesday is the loneliest day.

Wednesday, June 6th

Two Wednesdays ago, we were lucky to host Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide and Chris Otepka of Heligoats for a tremendous performance right here at 1301 Lafayette, just below our office. Then last Wednesday, we were blessed to host Tim Rogers of You Am I and The Phil’s Brass Quintet for a ridiculously great performance right here at 1301 Lafayette, just below our office.

A week later, I’m still not sure I believe that any of it really happened, nor what we can possibly do tonight to keep the streak alive. I’m also not sure what to do with the rest of my life, but that’s not really why you called, is it?

If you were at the shows, we thank you for your support and awesomeness.

In between these two gigs, we took over the same space—Lotus Gallery—to stage Bike It (Celebrating the Art of the Bicycle) as part of the Cultural District’s Last Saturdays programming. Click here to view a video recap of that memorable evening.
