(Fort Wayne, Ind.) One Lucky Guitar, Inc. recently launched several large websites including Turnstone.org, ArtsUnited.org—and their own OneLuckyGuitar.com. Web development and design has long been among OLG’s list of strengths, yet this month the design and marketing boutique has been able to add several brand new sites to their portfolio—showcasing their passion for brand storytelling and user-friendly and functional solutions.

When OLG client, Fort Wayne-based Turnstone finished working with OLG on “PowerChords,” the OLG branding workshop, they were eager to bring their website up to speed with their new brand and identity, in functionality and in style. They engaged One Lucky Guitar to create a website that would reflect their new image, and feature a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS). OLG also had a unique opportunity in building the Turnstone website, ensuring it met 508 Accessibility Standards which relate to website functionality. The Accessibility Standards are outlined and put into place to guarantee a site is accessible and user-friendly to people with various disabilities, including vision impairment.

“When we rebranded with OLG, it was time to bring our website up to date and make it fresh, easy to navigate and reflective of our new image,” said Nancy Louraine, executive director of Turnstone. “We find that more people are coming to our site to find out what it is that we do here at Turnstone. The better we communicate what goes on inside these walls, the more beneficial it is for us and for those who are utilizing our services. We’re very pleased that our new site is a strong reflection of all the good things that are happening at our agency.”

The team at Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, a long-time OLG client, brought the agency on to develop a website that operated in an easy-to-use CMS and effectively communicated the organization’s core purpose. Arts United strives to reach out to connect with the community and encourage artistic innovation in our region and it was important to them to have an easy-to-navigate website that echoed their vision for a vibrant artistic and cultural community. Another key element was the “Arts & Culture Forecast” calendar tool that makes upcoming community events easily available to the public.

One Lucky Guitar also found time to invent and develop an enhanced web-presence for their downtown boutique. Officially launching in mid-October alongside several other web projects, the new OLG site features an introduction the OLG team, case studies of their finest work, a directional video to their downtown office and “The Dial.”

“Our new blog—The Dial—will give us the opportunity to share, on a larger scale, some of the really awesome and inspiring work we get to create with our clients,” said Matt Kelley, One Lucky Guitar’s owner. “It also allows us to showcase the OLG team, our capabilities, our passions, and our unique voices in a way that helps our clients and friends get to know us, the real us, a little bit better.”
